The level of training RidePlus Driver/Aides receive is rarely fully called upon. Friendly service, and perhaps a helping hand, is generally all a client ever requires. Even so, our philosophy is if this training can prevent one injury or help just one senior, our investment is worth every penny. This is why our Drivers are also skilled observers:

• Trained in fall prevention
• Educated in properly providing arm-assisted aide
• Aware of how skin sensitivity changes as we age
• Knowledgeable in innocent ways seniors can be injured

Our special senior mobility curriculum was developed by Registered Nurses (RN) with decades of experience in the care and mobility needs of seniors. All Drivers complete this interactive, hands-on course administered by a RN, in addition to receiving:

• Red-Cross First-Aid/CPR certification
• PASS training (Passenger Assistance, Safety and Sensitivity)
• Driver Training
• Background screening
• DMV screening
• Tuberculosis screening
